M.L.A R.S Pura and Political Advisor to State BJP President Dr. Gagan Bhagat on Thursday kick-started several developmental works in R.S Pura Constituency .At Village and Panchyat Maralia black-topping work was started ,a function was organized at Basti Krishna Nagar,after the function Dr.Gagan Bhagat started the blacktopping from Canal Head, Maralia.The Black Topping work of the said road was the longest pending demand of the locals , the locals also demanded the Horticulture Nursery roan, Village Gazia road, and Maralia Dak Bungla to village Dablehar road , which is in dilapidated condition for past several years,Dr.Gagan Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that , he will surely keep his poll promises ,the total length of the blacktopping of road stretch is about 50 Kilometers , which he will try to get sanctioned from the department through the concerned Minister in the coming days as soon there will be a popular government in the State as today Mtr.Mehbooba Mufti has been elected as the leader of the P.D.P Legislature party, and the state which was under the governor rule since January 9th this year will have the first ever Women Chief Minister in the history .The locals and the prominent persons thanked Dr.Gagan for his efforts , as the said developmental works has been ignored for the last several years, the issue was raised by the local residents of the Village Maralia, few months ago with Dr.Gagan, when he was attending a workers meeting of the Bhartiya Janta Party , and there he assured that he will complete the said works ,and now the work has been started within few months, this positive change is worth appreciating said Rameshwar Manhas, M.D of the Pragmatic Higher Secondary School. While addressing the gathering at Village Jindlehar , in an another function organized by the rural development department under Swacch Bharat Mission, where fifty beneficiaries were provided twelve thousand each for constructing I.H.H.L (Indoor Toilets) at their houses ,while addressing the villagers M.L.A Dr.Gagan said that the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh.Narender Modi is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people especially to the people of the rural area including drinking water, road connectivity, electricity, health services, drainage system and education, and the Union government has been providing liberal funding which is separate from the Rs.80,000 Crores Special P.M Package to the State.He also assured the gathering of West Pakistaani Refugees at Village Jindlehar that the Union government will surely look into the their matter sympathetically. He sought cooperation from the people in implementing the development program on ground level. Later on Dr.Gagan Bhagat also visited Village Koulan and inaugurated a Lane & Drain , which was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.00 Lakhs. Responding to demands and problems of the local residents , Dr.Bhagat assured them that all their issues would be addressed in a phased manner, and the issue on the top priority which was the construction of a Indoor Sports Hall at Village Koulan, he assured that he will release funds for the construction of Indoor Sports Hall, so that the youths who are caught in the net of Drugs ,may be saved , and this Indoor sports Hall at the village will solve this purpose. He also assured the gathering that during the execution of works special emphasis will be laid on the quality of the work and while talking to the villagers he assured that replacement of wires and damaged poles under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Jyoti Yojna will be soon taken up.The prominent persons who accompanied the Legislator included X.E.N(P.W.D) Mohd.
