In the assembly today MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta raised the question of the scaricity of ration in the Jammu city.
While speaking in the zero hour Rajesh Gupta said that there is scaricity of ration in the city and also the distribution of ration is not proper.
Rajesh Gupta pointed towards the deficiencies in the supply of ration in the city and said that for the last two months only 40% ration has been given from the quota.
Rajesh Gupta urged the government to take necessary measures so as to enable the people to receive the balance quantity of ration.
Rajesh Gupta also pointed out the faults in the distribution channel of CAPD department as only 1.25 Kg of Atta is being supplied to the public instead of the sanctioned 3 Kg.
Rajesh Gupta pointed out that in the case of sugar only 500 grams is being given to the public whereas earlier the quantity used to be 700 grams.Moreover the sugar is being supplied after a gap of 6 months.
Rajesh Gupta urged the govt to take all the necessary measures so that the consumers get the ration items in the right quantity and within the stipulated time frame from all the ration depots in the Jammu city without any botheration.
