In relation with Birth Centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji , and foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP will organised free medical and health checkup camps in all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir State. Purely humanitarian, the camps will house acclaimed and specialist doctors who will examine patients and also provide them with medicines.
This was stated by Yudhvir Sethi, BJP Vice President in a press conference addressed at party headquarters today. Mr Sethi went on to disclose that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had very recently paid tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji at BJP Headquarters at Delhi and in 2015 also announced Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana to provide continuous power supply to rural India.
Yudhvir Sethi said now that BJP has planned free medical camps in Jammu , Srinagar and Ladakh it is expected that large number of patients will be provided medical

Yudhvir Sethi added that free aid and checkup facility at their doorstep from these medical camps will be held at district level wherein patients will be examined in cardiac, neurology and orthopaedic OPDs besides tests related to BP, sugar, BMD & ECG will also be conducted. Technical support will be provided by Fort’s Escort,Amritsar.
The first camp will be held at Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan Kachi Chawani Jammu on Saturday 15th April,2017
Yudhvir Sethi revealed that BJP Karyakartas (Party workers) at district levels who have been roped in along with doctors and paramedical staff will provide all necessary help/aid to the visitors/patients at respective places and ensure that poorest of people are given access to medical camps for their welfare and a healthy life.
He said besides other programmes and activities including social service functions, harmony meetings & seminars the BJP will try to reach out to commoners in most effective manner during foundation day celebrations. Now that we are observing foundation day of the party we must know that as of 2016, BJP has become India’s largest political party in terms of representation in the Parliament and state assemblies. It’s because of relentless efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior party functionaries including state and central leaders and workers that BJP has also become world’s largest party in terms of primary membership.
Recalling party’s landline victory in the 2014 general elections, the BJP Vice President said that party ever since then has not looked back and is continuing to get popular support of people of country in a big way and that all is attributed to its ideology of “internal humanism ” formulated by none other than Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji way back in 1965. The party that strongly supports traditional values has in the present day circumstances become socially popular amongst masses across length and breadth of India.
BJP In the 2014 general election, had won 282 seats, leading the NDA to a tally of 336 seats in the 543-seat Lok Sabha. Presently, BJP leaders are holding position of a Chief Minister in maximum states in the country and in many other states we are in coalition.
Paying tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Yudhvir Sethi said that he was a political philosopher, economist, sociologist, historian, journalist, and political scientist and a forerunner of the present day BJP. He was the leader who had visualised for India a decentralised polity and self-reliant economy with the village as the base, Yudhvir Sethi recalled.
Extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary policies, Yudhvir Sethi added that several projects including Shyama Prasad Mukherji Urban Mission, Soil Health Card Scheme, Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, Skill India, Kisan Vikas Patra (Kvp) Re-Introduced, Integrated Ganga Conservation Mission ‘Namami Gange’, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana, Digital India Programme, Housing For All By 2022, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana and Atal Pension Yojna are all aimed at making a strong India.
