STP plant to be made fully functional soon
Senior BJP leader and Member Legislative Council, M K Ajatshatru Singh today visited Kheer bhawani Temple Tulla Mulla to take stock of the arrangements for the Kheerbhawani Mela that is expected to have thousands of devotees tomorrow. Ajatshatru Singh is also the Trustee of Shri Dharmarth Trust, Jammu & Kashmir that owns and manages this important shrine along with hundreds of temples across the state.
Ajatshatru Singh visited the shrine to look into last minute details of the elaborate arrangements made by the government departments, socio-religious organizations, political parties, and the Dharmarth Trust to make the annual Mela a grand success.
Accompanied by his wife kunwarani Ritu Singh, Ajatshatru Singh offered prayers at the shrine and interacted with the large number of devotees present there. He visited various stalls and langars organized by different organizations and individuals. He lauded the efforts of all the government departments, local residents of the area, and 5 Rashtriya Rifles for looking after the devotees with love and warmth. He also met local BJP leaders and workers who were involved in looking after the devotees and ensuring smooth conduct of the Mela.
While interacting with various community representatives he assured them of best possible facilities for the devotees. He expressed anguish over non-functioning of the STP plant at the site thus resulting in inconvenience to the devotees. He assured the devotees that he will take up the matter with the concerned department and ensure that the STP plant is made fully functional at the earliest. He also wished that under the coalition government the atmosphere of distrust, fear, and uncertainty will be replaced by much happier times so that those migrated from the valley are welcomed back with full dignity and honour.
