BJP District President Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria toured Chatta Barmeeni area of Gandhi Nagar Constituency along with Mandal President Gandhi Nagar Ankush Gupta, Luder Mani Sharma and listened the problems of the people.
People of the area demand that they are facing the acute shortage of portable water and said that there the work of 3 tubewells were started but not has been completed till today. Whereas this village is hardly 12 km from Jammu city but no basic requirement of the village has been fulfilled since independence. Approach road of this village is in very bad condition but nothing has been done from past 16 years.
Baldev Singh Billawaria also visited the Govt. High School and listened the problems of school staff and teachers also. They demanded for the boundary wall of school and shortage of staff in the school. Similarly visited the under construction building of village Panchayat Ghar Chatta and assured the people and Sarpanches and Panches for the early completion of work and to handover the building of Panchayat Ghar to village Panchayat.
Billawaria assured the inhabitants of the area that their all genuine demands will be brought to the notice of Hon’ble Speaker and MLA Kavinder Gupta and concerned departments. He said that previous Govt. ignored this area on the name of development and BJP is committed to overall development of the Gandhi Nagar Constituency. Others who also attended the tour were Tej Raj Sharma, Bhushan, Kuldip Raj and residents of concerned area.
