Bhartiya Janta Party under the aegis of its Distt. Committee Jammu is organizing a “LOHRI MILAN” programme on Sunday the January 8, 2017 at Ram Leela Ground Gangyal Jammu from 10:30 Am to 1:00 Pm. A meeting to finalize the arrangements for the success of function was convened by Ankush Gupta, Mandal President Gandhi Nagar Jammu at BJP office at Trikuta Nagar which was presided over by Baldev Singh Billawaria, District President BJP, Jammu and attended by all ward Presidents, Executive Members and office bearers of the district committee of Party. Baldev Singh Billawaria welcoming all those present in the meeting said that the Festival of Lohri is an occasion deeply ingrained in our cultural ethoes and like previous Years the party will celebrate the event in a grand manner .Billawaria sought various suggestions from the rank file of members present in the meeting for making “Lohri Milan” event a great success.
After Long deliberations it was decided that a cultural programme will be held on the occasion which will be presided over by Kavinder Gupta, MLA Gandhi Nagar and Speaker of J&K Legislative Assembly on the day. Jugal Kishore M.P (LS) and others senior leaders of BJP will also participate in the Milan. The services of professional artists have also been sought in this connection by the Party. The District President Baldev Singh Billawaria also asked all office bearers of BJP to come at Ram Leela Ground at 10:30 Am and participate in the “Lohri Milan” programme in 8th January, 2017. A preeti Bhog will also be held on the ocassion at 1:00 pm at the venue.
