The State Unit of BJP has condoled the sad demise of party’s founder member and a senior leader Bansi Lal Bharti, who expired today at Super Speciality Hospital, Jammu, where he had been admitted after a heart attack five days ago.
BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, alongwith State Office bearers, senior leaders, MLAs, MLCs, District & Morcha President observed 2-minute silence for the peace of the departed soul.
Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh also condoled the sad demise of Bharti and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
Both, Sat Sharma and Dr. Nirmal Singh, while speaking on the struggleful life of this dalit leader, described Bansi Lal Bharti as a disciplined soldier of the party who stood witness to the history of BJP and participated in every important programme during all those years of his association with the party.
They said that Bansi Lal Bharti was a tall and highly respectable leader of his biradari as well, who was instrumental in getting the Mahasha Community recognized in the state.
Sat Sharma and Dr. Nirmal Singh, while terming the demise of Bansi Lal Bharti as a great loss to the BJP, said that the entire party is with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and pray almighty God to give strength to them to bear the loss.
