The State BJP is organizing Digi Dhan Festival from February 1st to 6th, wherein people at the booths level will be educated about digital economy or less cash transactions and familiarize them with the related modes and means. This was announced by BJP IT & Social Media Department State Incharge Jaidev Rajwal, while addressing media persons at Trikuta Nagar office alongwith State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan.
Elaborating on the week long Digi Dhan Festival, Jaidev Rajwal said that after the historic decision on demonetization, Narendra Modi government at the Centre has taken a number of initiatives to reach the people at their door steps and make them aware about the need to shift to Digital Economy and focus on less cash transactions. The different modes of Digital Economy like Cards POS, Aadhar Enabled Payment System, USSD and most effective Bhim App have been launched with the sole objective of providing variety of options to the people across the country for their economic transactions.
Jaidev Rajwal said that for effective conduct of Digi Dhan Festival, the party has geared up its organization and besides parent body, the activists of all the Morchas and Cells are prepared to devote time at Mandal and Booth levels so that maximum population is covered and the people get themselves equipped with the correct information and learn to use various modes of Digital Economy as per their convenience. Moreover, the people will also be made aware about various incentives and concessions on Digital Transactions.
