Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), State President, Sat Sharma greeted people on Eid ul Fitr
Sharma while congratulating the Muslims across the state on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr hoped that the festival strengthens the bond of peace, unity and brotherhood in the state.
“Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this auspicious day strengthen the bond of peace, unity and brotherhood across our state,” Sharma said.
He also expressed hope that the festival will reinforce the state’s commitment to mutual harmony and radiate the message of composite culture to the whole world.
He said:“I extend warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens, particularly to my Muslim brothers and sisters in India and abroad.”
The three-day-long Eid al-Fitr is a time to celebrate the completion of Ramadan, a month devoted to worship and repentance during which observing Muslims abstain from food and water from sunrise to sunset every day. “ Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the fasting month of Ramzan, is being celebrated across the country on July 6th.”
