MLA RS Pura & Political Advisor to State BJP President Dr. Gagan Bhagat handed over JCB to the Executive Officer Municipal Committee R.S Pura. In order to provide basic and upgraded facilities to the residents of all the Municipal wards of R.S Pura Municipal Committee, Dr.Gagan Bhagat himself drove the J.C.B starting from the Park ,he was accompanied by Municipal Committee officials, large number of people including social and political activists of the area and people hailing from all walks of life. While addressing the gathering Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that it was one of the most important demand of the Municipal Committee R.S Pura as the Waste collection, its proper disposal keeping the environmental issues was the biggest menace in the town and the local residents and the shopkeepers had approached the committee office several times, despite assurances nothing was given to them by the previous government. Since the day he has taken over as the M.L.A of R.S Pura this issue was in his mind and in the District Development Board meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, he demanded funds for the Municipal Committee R.S Pura and this J.C.B has been purchased out of that fund, fulfilling his poll promises this J.C.B will help the Municipal Committee in the management of the garbage and the solid waste. He also appealed to the general public to avoid using the polythene ,and particularly the business community ,this polythene is very lethal for the environment and the major reason for the water logging in the area, he also directed the Executive Officer Jodhraj to strictly enforce the ban on the polythene , nobody should be allowed to se polythene and habitual offender will be dealt strictly under law. Later on Dr.Gagan Bhagat visited the Bus Stand R.S Pura and interacted with the passengers, Drivers , members of the Bus union, and the shopkeepers of the bus stand and discussed in detail the problem faced by them and assured that within three month there will be total renovation will be done and the passengers will get more facilities at the Bus Stand, he also announced “Pink Buses” specially for the females and the college going students and said that he has initiated the process in this regard , so that the slogan of the Prime Minister of “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” is strengthened.Dr.Gagan Bhagat also announced one passenger shed , and cold water freezer along with R.O Filter near the Park for the convenience of the general public who face hardship during the hot summers. Later on a deputation of Ward No. 12 , Shiv Nagar also apprised Dr.Gagan Bhagat regarding the apathetic condition of a park near the Panj Peer, the legislator immediately directed the concerned authorities for the renovation of the same in the shortest possible time.
