‘Govt committed to root out menace of terrorism’
BJP Legislative party leader and Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today paid glowing tributes to martyrs Capt. Pawan Kumar, Capt. Tushar Mahajan, LNk Om Prakash, RK Rana and Bhole Singh and a devoted civilian employee of EDI in the still continuing Terror Attack at Pampore. He strongly condemned the spurt in Pak backed terrorist activities in the state and along the international border.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said the supreme sacrifices of the sons of India would be remembered for ages to come and strengthen the nation’s resolve to fight the menace of terrorism and anti-national forces. He said that BJP led NDA govt is committed to root out the menace of terrorism from Indian soil and whoever is supporting terrorism from within or outside the country would be taken care of with an iron fist.
Eulogising the sacrifices of the armed forces, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that forces have upheld the tradition of highest order to avoid collateral damage even at the cost of making the supreme sacrifices and to avoid civilian casualties. He said that nation is proud of its forces which have the best record in upholding the human rights in the world.
Urging the people to maintain communal harmony to defeat the nefarious designs of the anti-national, anti-India forces, Dr. Singh said that Indians won’t allow the designs of Pakistan and its proxies to destabilize the country which is on the path of development, peace and progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Later he visited Udhampur to pay his respects to the martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Captain Mahajan and assured that nation stands united with the family in this hour of grief.
