The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash today gave Rs 10000 cash assistance to families of each of the six victims killed in recent cross border shelling in Ramgarh.He also disbursed Rs 10000 to each of the nine injured persons.The Minister held an interactive sessionwith public at Keranwli, Rangoor, Jerda and Nanga listened to issues raised by them. Also distributed Rs 30000 compensation for individuals whose animals got perished in recent shelling.The Minister informed that Rs 5 lacs compensation shall be given to kin of killed civilians and directed DC Samba to submit case in this regard. He directed administration to take suitable measures in the context of the present situation where inhabitants of large number of villages on border areas have been temporarily evacuated.
The Minister was accompanied by DC Samba, Sheetal Nanda, ADC Samba Pawan Sharma, SDM Vijaypur Ravinder Sharma, Xen Pdd Ashok Gupta, Xen PWD K.S.Nathyal, Tehsildar Ramgarh Jai Kumar sharma and other officials.
