Hundreds of BJP workers and well wishers throng to welcome Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morch (BJYM) National Vice- President, Er. Aijaz Hussain on arrival at Srinagar Airport, on Tuesday. Er. Aijaz Hussain was last week appointed as BJYM, National Vice- President and has also been assigned with the task to look after the BJYM activities in union territory Chandigarh. Around one hundred vehicles were waiting outside airport to felicitate him and accompanied him from Srinagar airport to his residence at Zaffron Colony, Pampore. “I am highly thankful to all of you for showing such love and care . I will always try to come to your expectations and will try to bring Kashmir closer to New Delhi ,” he told the jubilant party workers.
Earlier, this week BJYM National President Poonam Mahajan, MP (Lok Sabha) announced the list at New Delhi. Aijaz hails from Kashmir’s Saffron town Pampore and is the only Muslim face and first from Kashmir in the BJYM National team. “Yes, I am the only Muslim in country to be inducted as National Vice President in BJP Youth team and first time in history of Kashmir that a person has been elevated to national team,” the jubilant Aijaz said. “This new and vibrant Yuva Morcha team will strive to take the effective work of the central government to the people, as well as work towards strengthening the organization,” Aijaz said, adding, he has been given additional task to look after Chandigarh BJYM apart from the assigned duty. “The BJYM will encourage and bring with it ideas and innovations to make a new India,” he added.
