Member of Parliament & BJP former State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith MLC Vibodh Gupta, Rajouri District President Dinesh Sharma and other local leaders undertook extensive tour of various areas of Thannamandi besides meeting the local activists of the party and paying obeisance at the holy shrine of Shahadra Shrief.
The MP also chaired public meetings and took stock of the problems being faced by the people and asked the party activists to reach the masses in entire length and breadth of the district to educate them about the people friendly and development based projects and schemes of the central government.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while speaking in the public meetings, said that during the past one and half year, the central government has launched one scheme after the other with a sole motive of the welfare of the needy and poor sections. Not only this, a number of developmental projects like four- lanning of roads, extending rail link to Rajouri and Poonch districts, initiating projects for border people etc themselves speak of the concern of the Narendra Modi government towards all round development and welfare of the people.
“Being an elected representative of the area, I am well aware of the needs of the people and will keep raising the voice of these people and make sincere efforts to get more and more projects for my Parliamentary constituency”, Jugal said and added that he is a public sevak with prime duty to serve my people.
Jugal Kishore Sharma also assured to fulfill the demand for a motorable bridge to Jamia Masjid and said that other demands of the people will also be taken seriously as per their aspirations.
MLC Vibodh Gupta, on this occasion, said that after being elected as a member to the Upper House, he has been minutely keeping eye in all the areas of Rajouri district in particular and when ever anybody or party activist approach him with problem or genuine public welfare demand, it is taken on priority by him.
BJP leaders Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Abdul Ghani Shal, Advocate Asif, Talib Choudhary, Zahid and others accompanied the MP.
