Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament BJP Lok Sabha Jammu-Poonch along with Mla Akhnoor Constituency Rajeev sharma met with Union Minister of State for Defense Subhash Bhamre at New Delhi and and raised several issues related to Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency.
Jugal Kishore Member of Parliament informed Union Minister of State for Defense Subash Bhamre that the Akhnoor Jourian Road Upto Pallanwala is the major road connecting the border area and observes much traffic hails much traffic and very contested to ply easily to the border area. This road also hails defense traffic and very congested to ply easily to the border area. He urged Minister to start the Construction work for widening pf road from Akhnoor to Jourian Road upto Pallanwala so that people and defense personnel can easily move through on this road. At the same time,he also discussed the issue of public land belongs to army and land beyond the fencing point as the people not allowed to cultivate their land and even not getting any compensation & rent since far.Moreover, Jugal Kishore added that more recruitment drive should be started for the youths of the border area.He also submitted the charter of demands to the Hon’ble Minister.
Rajeev Sharma Mla Akhnoor said that the lot of works would be done under Border Area Development Plan and Sadbhawna in the Akhnoor and Chamb border area in previous plans but now the area and population has been increased so more funds would be provided to the cope up with the left over works in the border areas.
Subhash Bhamre Union Minister of state for Defense GOI resulted meeting to be fruitful and assured them that their demands would be readdressed and more funds would be provided for the development of the Border Areas.
Senior BJP Leaders Ajay Gupta, Balkrishan, Ashok Kumar others were also present.
