With an aim to redress the problems of the people living in far-flung areas, MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar (BJP) along with Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Narinder Singh Bali today convened a public Darbar, grievance redressal camp under MGNREGA at Goha village of Marmat block of Doda district. BDO Marmat Yasir Hussain Wani, Tehsildar Marmat, XEn PDD, Principals of various schools, Sectoral Officers, Sarpanches, Panches, prominent citizens besides large number of people were present in the camp. During the interaction with general public the MLA was apprised of the issues pertaining to agriculture, power, fisheries, health, education etc. MLA gave patient hearing to the demands of the people and directed the concerned officers to take adequate steps to mitigate the problem of the people. Taking serious note of poor condition of health facilities in the area, MLA announced an ambulance for Primary Health Centre Goha out of his constituency Development Fund (CDF). MLA further said that the State Government is committed to provide basic amenities to the people adding that much needed steps are underway to improve water and power supply to the people and road connectivity to masses in remote areas. Mr. Parihar directed the PDD authorities to ensure uninterrupted power supply especially during the holy month of Ramzan besides asking PHE officers to ensure regular drinking water supply in the area. ADDC assured the people that their genuine demands and grievances will be redressed on priority. Later, Mr Bali inspected the Government Higher Secondary School Goha and directed the BDO Goha to hand our the newly constructed building to school authorities for use. He also conducted a meeting with Anganwadi workers, helpers, ASHA workers and directed them provide healthy and unhygienic food to the children and ensure better healthcare at their doorstep.
