In view of the forthcoming Shiv Ratri festival MLA Rajesh Gupta toured Peerkho,Panjbakhtar Mandir and Rameshwar Mandir to oversee the arrangements.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking to the managements of the temples laid special emphasis on security and cleanliness as large number of people visit these places on the festival of Shiv Ratri.
On the ocassion of Shiv Ratri festival every year their is a mela at Peer kho temple in which thousands of people participate.Rajesh Gupta gave specific instructions to have all the arrangements in place one day before the festival of Shiv Ratri.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion at Ranbireshwar Mandir said that the temple is of historical significance and people have a great faith in the Shiv Lingam in the temple.
Rajesh Gupta also said that Jammu is a wonderful mosaic of harmony and brotherhood where different people live side by side and share their festivals together.
Rajesh Gupta also advised the police department for making foolproof arrangements for the safety and comfort of all the devotees on the ocassion.
During the visit at Peer Kho MLA Rajesh Gupta took blessings of mahant Ravi Nath and gave directions to the health officer for proper sanitation and gave direction to the police deptt. for proper security & avoidance of traffic conjuction at the ghat and gave direction to the municipality for construction of new shed.
