Leads Tringa March in Mehari Manyalan in Rajouri
Rajouri,August 12: Giving a further boost to the ongoing series of programmes as part of “Azaadi 70” celebrations in Rajouri and Poonch, BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today led a Tringa March at Mehari Manyalan in Rajouri. A larger number of local people including the representatives from the local Panchyats participated in this march by proudly carrying national flags in their hands. This progarmme has set a great momentum for the ongoing Independence Day celebrations in this border belt of Rajouri. Addressing the gathering Vibodh gave a detailed account of various programmes being organized across the country as part of “Azaadi 70”. He said that he always feels proud to carry the tricolor in his hands which reminds him of great power which this nation gives to every citizen of this country. He said that today we are enjoying freedom and organizing such programmes only because of our freedom fighters, who laid down their lives to ensure that we get freedom. Appreciating the people living on the borders of India, Vibodh said that the people living in these areas have always made great sacrifices. He further added that after our armed forces it is the people living on the borders who play a very very vital role in protecting our borders. The people living on the frontiers of India belong to various religions but their priority always remain the sovereignty and integrity of our country. Vibodh said that in spite of huge problems being faced by these people they always give priority to nation and in this way these people make supreme sacrifices throughout their lives. Today when whole nation is gearing up for the celebration of Independence Day, we muct also give some thought to the role of these people in our national security.
Concluding his address Vibodh said in the coming days he will use every forum to highlight this vital role being played by the people of borders. Sanjay Sharma, Mandal Pradhan of BJP also spoke on the occasion and thanked MLC Vibodh for leading Tringa March in the border belt of Rajouri. Sanjay said that all the people living in the area are proud Indians and are ready to make any sacrifice for the sake of country. He also highlighted various issues of the local people and hoped that the state and central Governments will give due consideration to these genuine demands of the local people. He informed that in the coming days more such programmes will be organized and local community members as well as the students of the area are busing preparing for these programmes. Sarpanch Blabir Sharma also addressed the gathering and said that he feels pround to be part of such programmes and urged everyone to come out in large numbers in the coming days to make “Azaadi 70” programmes a huge success. This he said will be a real tribute to our freedom fighters as well as to our great nation. Prominent among those who accompanied MLC Vibodh included Haji Hamid Qurashi, Haji Sadiq, Mohd Munshi, Mohd Hussain, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohd Bashir , Fazal Din, Mohd Shabir, Haji Majeed, Sanjay Kumar, Pashorilal, Nater Khajuria, Ranjeet Singh, Raj Singh and Sham Lal.
