” Visits Government Higher Secondary School Rajouri ”
In order to followup on the recently adopted Boys Higher Secondary School Rajouri, today BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta visited the school and interacted with staff and students there. This school has been adopted by MLC Vibodh for developing the school into a model school. During this visit Vibodh took stock of various development activities specially with regard to modernization of various labs in the school. While addressing the students Vibodh said that right to education is not only the right to access education but also the right to receive an education of good quality. He further added that education must not only be available and accessible but also be acceptable and adaptable. He called upon the students to make use of latest technology available to them and try to gain knowledge through different modes. This he said will prepare them to become better future citizens. He also advised the students not to get education for the sake of Government jobs but to also to look for tremendous other opportunities which are available for every citizen. He also stressed upon the school management to work on a proper road map and a vision document for the school which can be used to make this school a really model school of the area. On this occasion MLC Vibodh handed over a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh to the school principal out of his CDF which will be used for various urgent requirements of the institution.
On this occasion principal of the school Rouf Dar thanked MLC Vibodh Gupta for regularly visiting the school and for encouraging the staff and students. He said that such followup actions by MLC Vibodh Gupta on regular basis will certainly go a long way in developing the school into ultra modern educational institutions of the area.
