Taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to build a clean and green nation, a massive plantation drive was conducted today at Dharpur area of Sunderbani in which a large number of saplings were planted by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma (CA). The program was organized by “Paryavaran Suraksha Samiti”, a renowned name which is headed by RC Sharma(Siot) and is working from a very long time to help in protecting the environment. During the occasion, many local residents and political activists of the area were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that during this plantation drive, a target of planting around one lakh saplings has been set by the organization and many saplings were planted in his presence and the work will be continued till the target of the organization is achieved.
He stated that saplings here have been planted on the names of great visionaries and statesman our country has ever produced. He said out of the one lakh plants planted, 50000 have been named after our Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 10000 after Former President Late APJ Abdul Kalam and 40000 saplings on the name of our great Prime Minister Narendra Modi whose only mission is to serve his country with full dedication.
He also stated that till date 9 lakh plants have been planted by the organization and he appreciated the efforts of RC Sharma as well who is working hard to protect our environment from the increasing rate of pollution. He also appealed the masses everywhere to come forward in the noble cause so that our environment is protected from the ills caused by pollutants.
Sat Pal Sharma President Yog Sansthan, Darvinder Kumar, Puran Chand, Bodh Raj, Dr Indu Bhushan, Mansa Ram, Karan, Bal Krishna, Gillu Ram, Mani Ram, Manohar, Joginder, Ankush and several others were also present on the occasion.
