M.L.A R.S Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat on Monday kick-started several developmental works in R.S Pura Constituency .At Kothey Gagian two lane & drain works were inaugurated ,on the occasion a public darbar was also organized at village Gagian, in which the villagers were present along with their grievances and many of the complaints were rectified on the spot, after the function Dr. Gagan Bhagat took a round of the area and met with the locals, who apprised him of various problems, .The Lane and drainage system was the longest pending demand of the locals ,the said developmental work was in dilapidated condition for past several years, and the previous regime did nothing except assurances. Dr. Gagan Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that , he will surely keep his poll promises ,the total length of the lane was one hundred fifty meters ,and was very vital ,in the rainy season it was virtually impossible to pass through the lane ,on the demand of other lanes and drains of the area, Dr. Gagan said that he will try to get completed those from the rural development department under the Convergence Scheme ,Constituency Development Scheme, 14th Finance Commission Scheme, B.A.D.P & M.P.L.A.D.S Scheme in the coming days.He further added that the developmental works which received a small brake , due to ongoing rainy season will be soon completed after the season is over .The locals and the prominent persons thanked Dr. Gagan for his efforts , as the said developmental works has been ignored for the last several years, the issue was raised by the party workers of the area, few months ago with Dr. Gagan, when he was attending a workers meeting of the Party ,and there he assured that he will complete the said work ,and now the work has been started within few months of his assurance this positive change is worth appreciating said Janak Raj, a local resident. While addressing the gathering at Kothey Salehar ,in an another function, he said that the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people especially to the people of the rural area including Health, drinking water, road connectivity, electricity, better drainage system and education, and the Union government has been providing liberal funding , and in this budget session Rs. 48,000 Crores has been kept for the Rural Development Department so that rural areas get focused attention which was completely ignored by the previous successive regimes in the Centre. Later on Dr. Gagan Bhagat also visited Village Jindlehar and inaugurated a Lane & Drain , which was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.4.00 Lakhs. Responding to demands and problems of the local residents, regarding ration Dr. Gagan assured them that all their issues would be addressed and the issue of P.D.S was among the top priority .He also assured the gathering that during the execution of works special emphasis will be laid on the quality of the work and while talking to the villagers he assured that replacement of wires and damaged poles under the special fund of Rs. 1 Crore provided by the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh will be soon taken up.The prominent persons who accompanied the Legislator included ,BJP Mandal R.S Pura President Natharam, City President Inder Sudan ,Gurdeep Saini, Manmohan Choudhary,Janak Raj, Rajkumar Babbi, Rajesh Kumar,J.E R.E.W, V.L.W and others.
