MP Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas conducted open Public Darbar for public to address their problems in Party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
While listening to the public grievances, MP said that Centre Government led by PM Modi as well as State BJP-PDP Government are keen to work for the development of nation. BJP follows the principle of “Antodaya” and in this birth centenary year of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya we are committed to give our hundred percent for the public welfare. This is the Government of masses, so everybody must visit public representatives regarding their concerns. We are also watching the works under MPLADS fund and other schemes closely.
More than fifty delegations met the MP for redressal of their personal as well as public problems. Various important issues were highlighted by the delegations. Delegations asked for construction of road from Bishnah to Arnia, Rattanpur onwards and several inroads. A delegation asked for the upgradation of PHC. Another delegation visited for the allotment of Hand Pump. MP also addressed the problem of Power Supply of a delegation. He immediately forwarded the case of financial assistance for a cancer patient to the authorities. In a delegation led by MLC Vikram Randhawa, he issued strict directions to the BDO, Satwari for maintenance of lakes.
Several delegations met with the MP for their revenue and land related matters. Other delegations met MP for constructions of Nallah and drains. Certain delegations met MP for PHE related matters. A delegation asked for the construction of Ladies Bathing Ghat. MP addressed many of the problems by telephonically talking to the authorities and issued written instructions for others.
The whole program was coordinated by State Secretary & State Incharge Election Related Matters Rajinder Sharma and State Office Secretary(Add.) Suresh Sharma. Rajinder Sharma asked the Minister to look into alleged irregularities being done by PSC, evident by ever increasing number of Srinagar Candidates in all selection lists. He also raised concerns over the working of Police and Revenue Departments with the MP. Arun Chibber, Kuldeep Mangotra and Jaideep Sharma were also present.
