BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta visited Mahari Gujran, a remote border village of Rajouri and took stock of the various problems being faced by the local residents of this area. He very patiently listened to the various problems and issues of the local population there. The local residents of the area informed MLC that in the absence of a link road to the area the locals of the area especially the womenfolk and children are facing a lot of problems. On this MLC Vibodh immediately announces an amount of Rs. 5 lakh out of his constituency fund for construction of 1km. link road. Latter in order to pay homage to the martyrs of yesterdays unprovoked firing by Pak rangers in the Keri sector of Chingus a two minutes silence was observed. While addressing the gathering with a heavy heart, Vibodh said that yesterdays barbaric and unprovoked firing by Pak rangers is an act of cowardice and those involved in these will soon face suitable reaction from our brave soldiers. While appreciating the local border residents of Rajouri and Poonch, Vibodh said that the people of this area have always stood united against such unholy acts of Pakistan. He further added that present Government at the state and at the centre is well aware of the hardships being faced by the border people. This he said is the main reason that Government is trying every bit to ensure the welfare, safety and security of the border people who always stand united with the forces in the hour of need. While cautioning the locals against the nefarious designs of a hostile enemy country, Vibodh said that present time is the high time when every one of us must resolve to double our efforts to defeat the evil designs of our enemy.
Latter local residents of the area thanked MLC for his visit to the area and for his prompt action on the long pending demand of locals residents related to the construction of the link road at Mahari Gujran.
