Lays foundation stone of lane drain work in Jawahar nagar
Taking forward Mission Facelifting in Rajouri town, Member Legislative Council and Senior Bhartiya Janta Party Leader Advocate Vibodh Gupta laid foundation stone of lane drain in Jawahar Nagar area.
The MLC managed Rs 10.50 lakh funds for construction of this lane drain which was long pending demand of the people of this area. He kicked off work in presence of officers of district and Urban Development department along with BJP leaders and local prominent people.
Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Vibodh Gupta said that he want to realise his dream of facelifting Rajouri town and he has already started this mission with full dedication and committment. He said that earlier regimes never concentrated on Rajouri town and they only focussed attention on particular Nallahs which forced city people to live in uncomfortable atmosphere. He said that he has taken up number of works in city area to provide justice with the people. He added that all the departments and officers are cooperating him to fulfill the mission facelifting.
Terming Rajouri a most important town having great historical background, Vibodh said that after the Mughal road is made fully functional, Rajouri will become most attractive place in future. He said that people should improve the condition of their bussiness establishments to cater tge need of visitors from outside who will come here using Mughal Road. He said that with the mission he started work of facelifting and he will continue to work till changing on ground situation of the town.
Advocate Gupta has also called upon people of town to cooperate with Municipal authorities in cleanliness mission. He said that people must take part actively in keeping the city neat and clean.
Others who were present on the occasion included Bharat Bhushan Vaid,Atam Gupta,Kamal Bakshi,Bashir Bhat,Raja Rattan,Ragubir Saraf,Minta Sawhney,Gorav Sharma,Sahil Gupta and Suneet Mahajan.
