One month training cum awareness camp was organized by the “Fruit & Craft Centre” Department of Horticulture, in which Dr. Gagan Bhagat M.L.A Ranbir Singh Pura was specially present as a chief guest who distributed Certificates among 125 girls who were benefitted by the camp today.While speaking on the occasion, the M.L.A said that the border area of Ranbir Singh Pura has huge potential for promotion of Horticulture sector and till date, least efforts have been taken in the desired direction. He called upon the fruit-growers of the area to develop their fruit-orchards on modern lines after proper sensitization and training from the Horticulture Department, so that it becomes a money-fetching vocation for them, and particularly, female-folk of the area. Dr. Gagan said that he is committed to propel Ranbir Singh Pura on trajectory of qualitative growth and vision-based development. And within his very short stint as elected legislator of the area, Ranbir Singh Pura has a proud distinction of having maximum kilometers Macadamized, rest of the main roads have been tendered and about to be started very shortly. And projects worth another hundred crore are about to sanctioned and stated in the near future.P.V.C Bana Singh Stadium has been alloted Rs.30 Lacs for upgradation for the first time, and the work has been started few days ago and another amount has been demanded for further works in the stadium which will directly boost the sports in this rural and border area, along with the opening of one Indoor stadium .First time in the history of the Constituency and in a short span of two and a half years huge amount of Rs.3 Crores has been invested to improve Power Infrastructure and the process of Upgradation and Creation of Transformers and replacement of damaged poles and conductors is in the full swings, and will be soon visible on ground with its completion. Ranbir Singh Pura has every time topped in DDB allocations and distribution of projects, got enlisted under NRLM, Basmati development Village at Chohala, Swachh Bharat O.D.F Town, R.A.P.D.R.P Electrification project with 10 MVA Upgrdation at Kullian Sub Station , costing several Crores, start of work on R.S Pura-Satwari Road, and submission of projects for completion of as many as three water supply schemes and sports stadium in villages and B.A.D.P Model Villages Projects. First time in history, it has got a Scheme “ Housing For All” (H.F.A) head, which is the only one in Jammu District ,blacktopping of Ranbir Singh Pura to Arnia road and setting up of Kendriya Vidhyala and E.C.H.S Clinic for Army Veterans in the Ranbir Singh Pura Town, he further said that several projects in the Urban Local Bodies ,Rural Development Department, Power Development Department, Public Works Department, Youth Services and Sports Department it had been with his persistent efforts in the Assembly as well as DDB meetings that a DDB decision that additionality of Rs.1 Crore was given to Ranbir Singh Pura and again in 2017 DDB meeting once again another Rs. One Crore was given in additionality came to be effected. And regarding several schemes which was not started yet ,he said that it is statewide issue and work on D.D.U.G.J.Y across the State is not started yet and will be started soon as the concerned department has been focusing on improvement in the Power Infrastructure. On the occasion Additional Director Horticluture Tejinder Singh, Deputy Director Horticluture Gul Sayeed, Tehsildaar R.S Pura Sohan Rana,CDPO R.S Pura Jasmeet Singh, District Manager J&K Women Development Corporation Sunita Rani , Aangan Wadi Workers, Supervisors, Trainee Girls and other prominent persons were present.
