Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga today reviewed the status of RAPDRP works in Bari Brahmana. Among others the meeting was attended by DGM M/s IRCON International Ltd Pankaj Bansal, MD SICOP R. L. Tikoo, AEE PDD Sunil Kumar and concerned officers. After reviewing the status of works, the Minister directed the DGM M/s IRCON International Ltd for speedy completion of works and to erect a 10 MVA receiving station in Birpur area so that the industries get a dedicated station. Mr. Ganga also visited the proposed site for setting up of receiving station and directed MD SICOP to handover the land to PDD for erection of the station. During inspection, the Minister instructed MD SICOP to develop a park in the adjoining area besides ensuring more plantations in the area.
