BJP Senior Citizens Cell State Convenor V.K. Sethi, during his touring of Rampura, Nai Basti areas of Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency, interacted with a large number of party activists as well as general public. He also distributed pamphlets containing the details of various welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
V.K. Sethi, while briefing about the path breaking and innovative schemes launched by Narendra Modi government, said that in a short period of just two years, 52 schemes have been initiated by the union government for the social and economic upliftment of the women, youth, farmers, weaker sections, senior citizens etc. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is of the belief that a nation cannot progress and prosper if its villages remain undeveloped and lack access to better means of communication and travel.
“The Modi government has laid stress on the development of villages and it is in this regard that various projects have been taken into hand with a sole motive of bridging the gap between rural and Urban areas by providing better infrastructure”, Sethi said and added that PM has set a target of taking electricity to every village by the year 2018. Not only this, the NDA government has launched PM Fasal Beema Yojana, which will go a long way in ensuring security and the poor farmers will not have to commit suicide in case of loss of crops due to natural calamity
Sethi further said that Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, has been launched by the Modi government, which aims to provide 24×7 power supply to all homes in rural India and it need to be highlighted.
