Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh on Sunday visited the home of martyred SHO Feroz Dar at Sangam, Kashmir and offered his condolences.
Dr Nirmal Singh while expressing sympathies with the bereaved family assured the Abdul Rasheed Dar father of martyred brave police officer that the Government will take care of his family and free education will be provided to the children. Dr. Singh also met with the children of deceased SHO. Deputy Chief Minister also directed the State Director General of Police to expidite the case of job for the next of kin. Dr.Singh said that the nation will always remain indebted to Feroz Dar for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. DGP Dr.SP Vaid, IG Kashmir Munir Khan and other senior officials from police and administration also accompanied Deputy Chief Minister. It is worth while to mention that 6 J&K Policemen including SHO Feroz Dar were martyred in militant attack in Achabal area of Anantnag District on last Friday.
