Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) held district working committee meeting in Ganderbal on Thursday, in which Minister for PHE and Public Health- Sham Choudhary was the chief guest.
While addressing the huge gathering, Chaudhury said the government was committed for the welfare of people of state. “The present government has framed many pro- people schemes to benefit common masses,” he said, adding, the party cadre should intensify their activities to reach general public and spread the awareness about these schemes among the masses.
Speaking on the occasion, party general secretary and incharge Kashmir- Dr Narendra Singh asked workers to intensify the party activities in their respective areas to mobilize the party cadre. “Launch door to door campaign to attract new faces and youth into the party fold,” he said.
Dozens of workers of different political parties including Ghulam Mohidin Bhat former Sarpanch of National Conference along with his supporters joined the party.
Dr Suresh Ajay Mangotra, State President of BJYM, on the occasion said BJP is committed to uproot poverty in the society for that dozens of public welfare schemes have been launched by the government.
He explained the idea of young India and asked office bearers and working committee members to ensure majority of youth of Kashmir are connected with this idea which ensure exploring the hidden talent in the youth.
“We are happy to see youth in Kashmir are joining mainstream politics and this party has provided for platform to explorer their hidden talent,” he said.
BJYM state secretary, Bilal Parray appealed the government to engage youth of Ganderbal in scores of welfare schemes launched by government for their betterment and engagement.
The working committee was organized by Azmat Khan- BJYM district president.
