BJP Kathua District General Secretary Asha Nand has been nominated as Member of the Consultative Committee of the Food Corporation of India for the State of Jammu & Kashmir for a period of two years.
In an official communication from Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Asha Nand has been official apprised of his nomination by Under Secretary to the Govt. of India.
The name of Asha Nand had been recommended by the State Unit of Jammu & Kashmir BJP through Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh.
BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and other senior leaders of the party have extended their congratulations to Asha Nand and expressed hope that he will work wholeheartedly while serving Food Corporation of India as Member of the Consultative Committee for the State of Jammu & Kashmir. They also said that in the nomination of Asha Nand as Member of the said committee, the party has recognized his untiring services to the organization in Kathua district.
