Congratulating the BJP leadership of the Centre and the Assam State for party’s splendid electoral victory, Deputy Chief Minister & Leader of BJP Legislative Party Dr. Nirmal Singh said that it is one more feather in BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cap. He said that what BJP has achieved in Assam is the result of sincere and hard efforts of the BJP activists and innovative, creative and inspiring Central leadership. The Congress’ corruption laced mis-governance contributed to its decimation. The electoral results are also the endorsement of the programmes and policies of Narendra Modi led government. The people of Assam had got fed up with the Congress misrule and wanted to teach it a lesson for their miseries and suffering as also backwardness of their state.
Dr. Nirmal Singh further said that the BJP has also significantly improved its vote percentage in other states like West Bengal, Kerala, Pondicherry etc. which is also an indicator that the people there too want to strengthen BJP and the day is not far when it will be winning enough seats in these states to govern.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that BJP has emerged very effective and progressive replacement of the Congress party, whose rule had been marked by scams of astronomical proportions, regressive and anti-people policies. The country is vigorously and effectively heading towards “Congress Mukt Bharat”, which is the mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, necessitated because of the depredations and loot of the public exchequer by Congress for decades.
