State BJP strongly condemned the murderous attack on its MLA of Samba Dr. D.K. Manyal who was attending the cremation of those killed in the mishap when the overloaded bus crashed with a Trolly because of rash driving, The attack was made by some miscreants on the MLA, who reached on the spot of accident and helped in arranging the vehicle to carry the injured to Samba Hospital and Jammu Medical College. It looks that the attack on the MLA was manipulated by some persons feeling jealous of BJP victory in Samba in General Assembly Elections. The miscreants pelted stones on the MLA causing serious injuries to him and also damaged his Scorpio Vehicle. The party demanded arrest of all those involved in the attack and those behind the scene; managing the attack. The State BJP asked for loading the stern and appropriate clauses against the assailants.
BJP takes strong notice of the incident and taken it as an allow on the democratic setup and ask the police to give exemplary punishment to those involved in the incident.
Prof. Virender Gupta did not rule out the involvement of political rivals who out of utter frustration, are resorting to these type of cheap means not digesting the growing popularity of Dr. Manyal, who is during a younger service in this constituency by out of his hard work and has established a great rapport amongst the masses of his constituency.
Prof. Virender also expressed his sympathies and conveyed condolences on behalf of BJP to the bereaved families on their irreparable loss and asked the administration to conduct a detail inquiry which led to this fallout accident.
