BJP Janipur Mandal Jammu West organized a Digidhan festival programme at Ward No 37 in Janipur area.
It was led by District President Ayodhya Gupta, IT Incharge Nidhi Verma and Mandal President Vijay Sharma
Ayodhya said BJP Jammu West organizing a Digi Dhan Festival from February 1st to 6th, wherein people at the booth level will be educated about digital economy or less cash transactions and familiarize them with the related modes and means
He also said that after the historic decision on demonetization, Narendra Modi Government at the Centre has taken a number of initiatives to reach the people at their door steps and make them aware about the need to shift to Digital Economy and focus on less cash transactions.
Nidhi said different modes of Digital Economy like Cards POS, Aadhar Enabled Payment System, USSD and most effective Bhim App have been launched with the sole objective of providing variety of options to the people across the country for their economic transactions.
Vijay said that for effective conduct of Digi Dhan Festival, so that maximum population is covered and the people get themselves equipped with the correct information and learn to use various modes of digital economy as per their convenience.
Prem Gupta, Balbir Singh, Monika Gupta, Ramesh Khajuria, Parshotam Dogra, Sahil Gupta, Yashpal Gupta, Uttam Kohli, Sourabh Gupta, Parshotam Khajuria, Radhey Sham, Balbir Gupta, Ashok Kher, Manjeet, Ashok were also present.
