On the directions of Kavinder Gupta, MLA Gandhi Nagar and Speaker of Legislative Assembly Baldev Singh Billawaria district President Bhartiya Janta Party along with his team Undertook tour of Preet Nagar, Digiana, sawaran Nagar Jammu and listened to the problems of the people of the areas. The residents in large numbers related their woes to Billawaria who listened them patiently. At Shankar Nagar, people related and told Billawaria that due to non –completion of work and bridge, they are facing enumerable problems .Billawaria told them a sum of Rs.7.5 Crores has already been sanctioned for construction of bridge and work on it would be completed within three months. At Preet Nagar the people told Billawaria that a lot of work on drains is required to be completed. At this Billawaria told the people that Construction in of drains in Preet Nagar has started and it will be completed in all areas in a phased manner. At Digiana the residents told Billawaria that proper Cleanliness is not being done in their area. He told them that he has taken up the matter regarding Proper Cleaning of all areas falling under Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Jammu and hoped that things will improve shortly as in some areas there is a vast improvement.
