BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, Dy. Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh and other senior leaders of the party have condoled the sad demise of S. Mehar Singh of Batote.
While expressing sympathies with the bereaved family, Sat Sharma said that S. Mehar Singh was a very close associate of Sher-e-Duggar Pt. Premnath Dogra and former Member of BJP State Executive, who was a man of principles and had pain an concern for the common people. The entire life of this veteran leader was devoted to the service of party and the society.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, in his condolence message, termed S.Mehar Singh as a down to earth political activist, who was very close to the grass root workers due to his polite and soft spoken nature. He said that in the demise of S. Mehar Singh, not only BJP but the J&K State too has lost a great patriot and mass leader, who could read the pulse of a common man.

Mehar Singh.
