A condolence meeting was held at the headquarters of Bharatiya Janata Party, Trikuta Nagar under the chairmanship of S. Varinderjit Singh, State Cells Incharge BJP to mourn the sad and untimely demise of Vijay Singh S/o Sub Maj Bishamber Singh Jasrotia, Co-convener of the BJP Ex-Servicemen Cell. Vijay Singh died in a tragic road accident on 26thOctober at the young age of 30 years. He was married about 9 months back and has left behind a young widow besides the parents. All present paid their homage and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Brig Anil Gupta, State Spokesperson and Ex-Convener of the Ex-Servicemen Cell described the self-less service being rendered by Sub Maj Bishamber Singh for the welfare of veterans and the Party. Brig Gupta said that we all sympathize with the Jasrotia family in this hour of grief and pray to the Almighty to grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this tragic and irreversible loss. Ashok Kaul, Gen Secy (org) and Balbir Rattan, State Spokesperson and convener Media Department also paid their homage to the departed soul.
