BJP congratulates common masses, election commission, LG administration, security personnel, government employees and every other contributor for successful District Development Council (DDC) polls in J&K, said Shri Ravinder Raina President, Jammu & Kashmir, BJP.
Shri Ravinder Raina accompanied by former Dy. Chief Minister Shri Kavinder Gupta and J&K BJP General Secretary & former Minister Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal was addressing a Press Conference at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Shri Ravinder Raina said, “DDC elections conducted for the first time in history of Jammu & Kashmir have culminated successfully. Residents of J&K have successfully negated the designs of separatists & terrorists and made these elections highly successful. J&K Residents have massively participated in the event like a festival. Local residents were being threatened by the terrorists at the start of these elections, but they sidelined their threats and participated in the event even with the greater force.”
“We are thankful to the election commission who made this process a grand success. We also congratulate every agency, security agencies, paramilitary forces, Indian army, JKP and all others without whose contribution these elections could have not been such a great success. The government employees who served tirelessly in this election are also to be thanked”, Shri Ravinder Raina said.
Shri Ravinder Raina thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the elections of DDC, BDC and earlier Sarpanchs & Panchs and said that the whole system of Panchayati Raj is now implemented in J&K which could only be achieved with the abrogation of Article 370.
For 70 years J&K was kept at a loss under the blanket of 370 and were not granted any due rights. Now, the residents of Jammu & Kashmir are thankful from the core of their heart to the PM Modi on whose directions and for his personal interest, this whole process could finish with complete implementation of Panchayati Raj system.
Shri Ravinder Raina said that every single district of Jammu & Kashmir witnessed massive participation in this election process, which tells the success story of this election. People have once again put their faith in the democratic process of the world’s best democracy.
Shri Ravinder Raina once again congratulated every single participant of DDC election process and said that their contribution have strengthened the grass root level democracy in J&K. He further assured the masses that the elected representatives of this election will ensure the deliverance of good governance at their doorsteps.
J&K BJP Office Secretary Shri Tilak Raj Gupta and Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra were also present on the occasion.
