The State unit of BJP today dedicated its newly constructed Auditorium in the premises of Trikuta Nagar Office to former State President & Ex-MP Late Vaid Vishnu Dutt. In an official programme, this Auditorium named as Late Vaid Vishnu Dutt Sabhaghar, was inaugurated by Smt. Geeta Devi, the widow of Vaid ji, along with BJP State president Sat Sharma, National Secretary Farooq Khan, MPs- Jugal Kishore Sharma and Shamsher Singh Manhas, State General Secretary (organization) Ashok Kaul and MLC Ashok Khajuria, in presence of State office bearers and Morcha Presidents.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that Late Vaid Vishnu Dutt was one of the tallest leaders of the BJP. He was a staunch activist of RSS but after joing BJP, Vaid ji, served it in different positions and assumed the post of State President besides being elected as MLA and then MP. Sat Sharma said that the whole life of Vaid Vishnu Dutt itself provides inspiration to the ground level workers of the party and the Auditorium dedicated to him will always remind the party activists and the next generations of BJP about the simplicity and leadership qualities of a social and political figure like Late Vishnu Dutt ji.
MLC Ashok Khajuria spoke in length about the struggleful life of Vaid Vishnu Dutt and asked the party activists to take pledge to follow the path shown by Vaid ji.
Vaid Vishnu Dutt’s son and daughter-in-law were also present on the occasion.
Later, a meeting of BJP State Office Bearers was held in the Auditorium, which discussed the tomorrow’s meeting of State Working Committee arrangements.
