BJP State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, while addressing media persons at party headquarters, said that the party is organizing different programmes in connection with Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay Birth centenary year celebrations. Besides going to public and highlighting welfare schemes of Narendra Modi government and those of state’s coalition, the party is deputing 2551 activists across the state at booths level, which is part of nationwide programmes of BJP named Karya Vistar Yojana.
Dr. Narinder Singh said that with an objective of getting close association with the people by reaching their door steps, our state unit has identified 2500 plus activists of the party hailing from every area of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, who have voluntarily opted to devote their 15 days as full time workers at a particular place. The party has already deputed 69 activists as Vistaraks from Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu, who are working in different constituencies for six months. These Vistarak will also make people familiar with the ideology of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and his philosophy of Ekatam Manav Vaad, Antodya etc.
Dr. Narinder Singh said that the recently held State Working Committee Meeting in Doda was historic in the sense Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay had visited there in 1966 to boost the morale of hardworking nationalist people in the tough and challenging situation. The senior activists of the erstwhile Doda district were nostalgic about those days during the working committee meeting.
He said that BJP State Presidnet & MLA Sat Sharma, in the meeting said that Doda is a land of brave martyrs and it gives us immense feeling of patriotism and valour hood.
He added that Dr. Jitendra Singh explained in details about all the schemes initiated by the Centre government headed by PM Narendra Modi which are serving as a bridge between the party and poorest of the poor..
During the meeting, Dy. Chief Minsiter Dr. Nirmal Singh spoke on the achievements of the state government which is working day and night for the welfare of the people of the state, said Dr. Narinder Singh.
During the press conference, the party’s political resolution, which was adopted at State Working Committee Meeting, Doda, was also released.
BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan was also present in the press conference.
