BJP senior leader, Rashpal Verma, who has been recently appointed as State Vice Chairman of OBC Board by the state government, was felicitated by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, along with BJP National Vice-President Avinash Rai Khanna, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Hon’ble Speaker Kavinder Gupta, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, State General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul and MLC Ashok Khajuria at Trikuta Nagar Office in presence of a large number of party leaders and activists.
Sat Sharma, while congratulating Verma, said that OBCs constitute a major percentage of the population of the state and the Board will provide them an exclusive platform to directly interact with the Vice-Chairman and suggest ways and means for further strengthening it so that their grievances are looked into minutely and resolved to their satisfaction.
Avinash Rai Khanna, on this occasion, said that Rashpal Verma has a long standing in public life and his experience of political and social life will obviously ensure in understanding and highlighting the problems of the members of the community in more effective way.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that the BJP coalition government is committed for the equitable development and welfare of all the sections of the society and for this purposes various Boards have been constituted with a sole motive of providing an opportunity to each community to themselves sit together and seek government’s help in matters related to their social and economic welfare.
