Jammu East MLA and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta started the work of the footpath and laying of tile work and also inaugurated the work of the drain at Talab Khatikan in ward no.5.The estimated cost of the work is rupees eight lakhs.
The officials who accompanied the MLA included Yasir Kitchloo and Jagdish Singh PWD and JMC official R.K.Koul.The members of the Rajinder Bazaar Traders Association Arun Gupta, Atul Gupta, Krishan Lal Gupta,Balraj Gupta,Raman Gandotra,Arjun Gupta, Preetam Rohmitra and varinder Gupta, Sunil Mahajan and Sudesh Bhatia. The members of the Lakhdatta Bazaar Traders Association Kartar Gupta and other members including BJP leaders Subhash Gupta, Chaman Lal, Girdhari Lal,Kuldeep Kandhari,Rajesh Gupta, Gopal Gupta, Hari Om Sharma and Jia Lal.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that he would start the work of the rotary of Shaheedi Chowk for its beautification in earnest .Rajesh Gupta also assured the people present on the occasion that he would take up the work of footpath of City Chowk to Ghass Mandi Chowk.Rajesh Gupta said that we are laying the foundations for a holistic growth in all the sectors of the economy.That is the reason we don’t believe in flashy and ad hoc culture. He said that until and unless there is wholesomeness and inclusiveness in our endeavours the job remains only half done.We have to reach out to the last man in the line and attend to his problems than only we will be doing justice to the mantra of sab ka saath sab ka vikas.
