BJP Kissan Morcha State & President Ring Road Sangarsh Samiti Rajinder Singh Chib alongwith Kissan Morcha State General Secretary Capt. Kasturi Lal Sharma met with Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma and apprised him the grievances of the poor farmers whose land/residential/commercial buildings/units coming under ring roads. He told MP that the farmers are being paid stamp duty rate as compensation of their fertile agricultural land which is very low. This will adversely affect the poor farmers and their families on losing of their agricultural land the farmers will face hardships to earn their bread and butter. This would a great injustice the farmers.
Rajinder Singh Chib requested the MP that farmers should be paid equal to four times of present market rate of their land including custodian/state land, pay present market value of their residential/commercial buildings/units, provide government job to any one member of the family of the farmer whose 75 per cent or more land coming under the Ring roads, pay present market value of wooden/fruit trees.
Jugal Kishore Sharma assured the President that the matter will be discussed in the Cabinet and efforts will be made to compensate the affected farmers. Suitably Morcha District Vice-President Deepak Shama and progressive farmer Madan Lal were also present on the occasion.
