With an objective of having direct interaction with the Mahila Morcha activists and the women in general from the society as well as to get feedback related to the ongoing development works, listen to the grievances and share the women centric programmes and policies of the government, W.No 43, Nanak Nagar President Neelam Choudhary organized a meeting under Mandal President Rekha Chouhan.
BJP Jammu District President Baldev Singh Billawaria, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, said that the BJP has always been concerned for the people and the cause of the nation in the state. The BJP has entered in government in the state for the first time and during the last one and half year, it is working on fulfilling the promises made to the public. “BJP had gone to the people to seek votes on the promises of giving corruption free good governance”, Baldev said and added that not even a single case of corruption has been noticed and a people-friendly governance is visible in the state. He said that a number of development activities have been initiated with numerous welfare schemes for the poor and needy. The opposition parties cannot digest the fact that an era of development has started in the state and are making repeated attempts to defame the BJP coalition government but the people are well educated and have themselves witnessed the role of opposition parties for decades.
Mandal President Rekha Chouhan asked the Mahila Morcha activists to highlight the welfare schemes launched by PM Narendra Modi government and state’s BJP coalition government for the benefit of women and also help them in availing the benefits of the same.
Ward President Neelam Choudhary discussed the local problems of the people and also gave the feedback related to the development works being undertaken in the ward.
