To pay tributes to the brave soldiers of Indian army, who sacrificed their lives in defending the Indian territory at the world’s highest battle ground in Siachin glacier, BJP organized a Shradhajali Sabha at party headquarters on Friday.
BJP State President Sat Sharma CA, State Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State Secretary Ch. Vikram Randhawa, State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi, MLA Rajesh Gupta and other senior leaders garlanded the photographs of these soldiers and paid their rich tributes.
Sat Sharma, while paying tributes, said that the team of these ten young soldiers were on their noble duty to defend their motherland leaving their families, relatives and friends at far away. He said that such jawans are the real heros of the Indian nation and they deserve salutes.
“Be it rain or sunshine, winter or summer, day or night, the army men always fight the challenges, both natural as well as posed by the enemy and make sacrifices. He said that one of these soldiers Lance Naik, who remained buries in snow for six days.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the citizens of the country have sound sleep at night and feel secure only because of their faith that someone is there on borders to ensure their security. He said that these ten jawans did not die but sacrificed themselves while discharging their duties as the sons of mother India.
District President Baldev Singh Ballawria said that Lance Naik Hanumanthappa and his colleagues laid down their lives while in the service of the nation and our real tribute towards them will be to honour such brave men for whom nation and its security is prime.
District General Secretary Sunil Dogra conducted the proceedings of the Shradhanjali Sabha.
