On the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar, BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha under its State President & MLA Dr. Davinder Manyal, organized a programme at Trikuta Nagar Office.
BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, alongwith State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, Chief Whip & MLA Rajesh Gupta, Chhamb MLA Dr. Krishan Lal Bhagat, senior leader & Morcha Prabhari Narsingh Dass Rajwal, State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan and Morcha General Secretary Manohar Lal Rao, laid wreaths at the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar and paid their rich tributes.
Sat Sharma said on the occasion that Dr. Ambedkar was a great jurist, economist and social reformer of the recent times who campaigned against social discrimination towards lower sections of the society, while also supporting the rights of women and labour class. He was Independent India’s first law minister and the principal architect of the Constitution of India, for which he has been decorated with Bharat Ratna.
Dr. Narinder Singh said that Dr. Ambedkar always advocated for a uniform Civil Code throughout the India that’s why he was personally against Article 370 which he promptly conveyed, but the then political compulsions and self interests of certain persons at the helm of affairs led to the present chaos and turmoil in this border state.
Dr. Devinder Manyal said that Dr. Ambedkar gives the lesson of progress in life not only to a particular community or sect but to the whole mankind that hard work always pays, no situation can stop a person from achieving a goal, no matter how bad the circumstances be.
Rajesh Gupta said that history is witness to the fact that Vedas were written by Ved Vyas, Ramayan by Valmiki and Indian Constitution by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, all of them belonged to dalit community. From culture to constitution the contribution of dalits have been splendid.
Dr. Krishan Lal Bhagat said that Dr. Ambedkar was a prolific student under difficult socio-economic conditions, earning Doctorates form World class Universities, gaining reputation as a scholar for his researches. He also worked as an economist, professor and lawyer.
Narsingh Das Rajwal said that he was awarded Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award, because of his intelligence and selfless service to the nation and society. He added that he stands as a role model for all especially youth to work tirelessly and as a mission.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that Dr. Ambedkar believed that education to children is must, as the root cause of all social evils is backwardness prevalent in the society. Baba Saheb himself worked whole life, whole heartedly for the cause of dalits.
