BJP organized get together of BJP veterans who have worked with the former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday which was chaired by its State President & MLA Sat Sharma along with State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul. Former Union Minister and senior leader Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta was Chief Guest and was hosted by Vice-Chaiperson Pahari Development Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta at his official residence.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that all the seniors who worked in the troubled times when there were no resources or other mediums and all type of hostile atmosphere prevailing in those times, but still worked with the sole aim of taking Nation to its pristine glory need to be given due importance and take lessons from their life experiences while working selflessly. He stressed that BJP was formed with a vision to plug every single condition which is holding the Nation back by theses stalwarts. On this auspicious day, “Sushasan Diwas”, we pray to God Almighty, that the ambassador of “Good Governance” Bharat Ratna Atal ji be blessed with many more years filled with health and prosperity.
Ashok Kaul while laying stress on the great charismatic persona of former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said that he started the true era of development in the Nation and still stands as the strong pillar of determination and guiding force for Crores of BJP activists throughout the length and breadth of Nation. He said it is the effort of BJP veterans who are present here as well as those who laid their lives in the service of Nation, that today BJP is able to work effectively for fulfilling the aspirations of the region.
Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta thoroughly shared his treasure of experiences while serving the society. He also narrated memorable moments of Atal ji’s life and emphasized on the character building of the party leaders and activists while always keeping the Nation first in all the decisions of life.
Kuldeep Raj Gupta who was the host of programme, said that this meeting is an attempt of the organization to remember all those who have worked in the building of party and take lessons from their life experiences.
