BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), alongwith State Secretary Sanjay Baru and Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta, handed over a cheque of rupees twenty five thousand to Thoru Ram, a resident of Talab Tillo as compensation as his shop got damaged in a fire few days ago.
Soon after the occurrence of the incident of fire break in the shop, Sat Sharma had taken up the matter with the Deputy Commissioner and the case for compensation was forwarded to Red Cross and a cheque for an amount of rupees twenty five thousand was issued in favour of Thoru Ram, which was finally handed over to him by Sat Sharma.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that it has always been his sincere effort that the loss caused by such incidents are adequately compensated so that the sufferer can be in a position to re-stand and carry on his routine life.
Sanjay Baru expressed gratitude to the BJP State President for quick follow up of the case which resulted into compensation in favour of the fire victim and added that it is indeed a highly appreciable initiative.
