A meeting of BJP Mahila Morcha in Balmiki Colony was organised by Anita Devi, Ward President Ward No 20, wherein Rekha Chouhan, President Mahila Morcha Gandhi Nagar Mandal, listened the problems of the local inhabitants related to electricity, ration and also discussed with the women of the area the social evils in the society and asked them to avail the benefits of various centrally sponsored schemes as well as those launched by the BJP coalition government in Jammu & Kashmir.
Rekha Chouhan, with team members of her mandal, also visited the local ration shop and discussed problems of the people regarding non-issuing of ration items with the ration dealer and enquired about the reason for delay in making available rice, atta and sugar.
While speaking to the gathering of the women folk of the colony, Rekha Chouhan assured them that she will personally take up all the grievances of their area with the concerned MLA and also the higher authorities so that no one is made to suffer anymore.
Prominent among those who accompanied the Mandal President included Pooja Chouhan, District Secretary Mahila Morcha, Prerna Nanda General Secretary Mahila Morcha Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Charanjeet Kour Ward President Ward No. 44. Seema Devi, C.O. Urban Development Department was also present to aware the women about the latest schemes launched by the government for their benefits.
