Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), State General Secretary (Org.) Sh. Ashok Koul visited south Kashmir’s Pulwama and Kulgam district and interacted with party workers, on Wednesday.
Kaul took feedback from the party workers about the party activities in these districts. “I visited these areas take stock of party activities,” he said, adding, he directed party workers to listen to the grievances of the people and forward the same to the party high command.
Kaul also asked party workers to intensify the party activities in the area and prepare a smooth ground for upcoming Panchayati elections. “As government has already announced the tentative date for Panchayati elections, our party people should also be ready for it,” he said.
“Panchayati elections are directly beneficial for general public as it strengthens democratic set up at gross root level and by this institution developmental activities reach to common masses,” he said.
