Setting an example of humanity with a vision to help needy sections across the society, State Vice President BJYM(Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) and In charge Jammu West Karan Sat Sharma contributed an amount of Rupees five thousand to Kanchan D/0 Subash Manhas and Chand Rani R/0 Bhagwati Nagar area of Ward 14 for her marriage. He was also accompanied by locals and social activists of the area. Sharma handed over the amount to the family of girl.
In a press statement issued, Karan Sat Sharma said that it is indeed a small step to help the family in one way or another. He said that though this amount will not cope up with everything but will help them in overcoming some of their problems.
He stated that he has contributed the amount from his personal savings and he also appealed the masses as well to come forward in the noble cause and a helping hand must be given by one way or another to those who are in dire need so that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of building “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and “Beti Bachao Beti Padao” could be achieved.
State Executive Member BJP Naresh Sharma Mantu, Sanjay Sawhney, Asha Sharma, Darshan Kumar, Atul Bakshi, Rano Devi, Narinder Kumar and several others were also present on the occasion.
